Dreamcatcher classes will be held in Mrs. Waldo's classroom from 3:05 until the late bus arrives every Thursday beginning on November 7th. I will supply all of the beads, feathers and sinew that you will need for the dreamcatcher. However, if you would like to have an Eagle's feather (imitation of course) in your dreamcatcher, you will need to supply that.
For each dreamcatcher you wish to make, you will need to purchase a 7 inch round metal ring and 12 yards of suede lace. Both of these supplies are available at Michaels or similar craft stores.
This will be a fun relaxing project and make a great Christmas gift for family or friends.

The Legend of the Dreamcatcher
The Dreamcatcher should be hung over the bed so air can flow through it.
Native Americans believe that the air at night is filled with dreams. As a person sleeps, the good and bad dreams are floating in the air. The good dreams pass through the hole in the center of the dreamcatcher and the bad dreams get caught in the web. The bad dreams then disappear in the morning light.
